What do you say to the more than 1,000 runners and walkers who came out to the Deerfield Towne Center Panera Bread each year for the past several years to participate in the Cincinnati Panerathon to Fight Hunger? Or, the people who got up extra early on the third Sunday of September for years to set up their sponsor booths, serve food, hand out information, entertain the crowd, and make sure everyone was safe and protected? Or, the folks who made sure the race was fair and accurate? Or, the people who handed out cold water and encouragement when runners needed it most? All that can be said from the staff at Panera Bread, and the hungry families in Butler and Warren County who benefitted from your athletic effort, and the more than $105,000 we’ve raised for Shared Harvest Foodbank and the Mason Food Pantry since 2012, is a heartfelt THANK YOU! For every $1 raised, eight meals were provided to families through Shared Harvest Foodbank.

In light of recent changes, the Panerathon will not be held in the Cincinnati market. Panera Bread will continue to work diligently to support the communities, where we reside, through local philanthropic efforts.

Please continue to support Shared Harvest and Mason Food Pantry.
